Job Description:
Belt Collins is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Engineer to help provide quality environmental planning and compliance services for our private and public sector clients. Services include assisting with federal and state environmental assessments/impact statements, Clean Water Act compliance, and Phase I Environmental Site Assessments. The key responsibilities of this position are to conduct and manage projects, learning new skills and managing projects of increasing complexity; however, the potential to take on other responsibilities such as marketing new services/clients and supporting other services are available for the candidate demonstrating the capability, motivation, and drive. This position requires excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, strong analytical skills, the propensity to solve problems independently while desiring to interact in a team environment, and the ability to recognize overall objectives while paying close attention to details.
Minimum desirable qualifications include: a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering; 5 years of experience; knowledge of MS office software (Word, Excel); and ability to conduct field visits that may involve extensive walking or hiking in unimproved areas. Salary for this position is commensurate with experience.
