April Philips Design Works celebrates the merging of images with ideas to create the foundation for design. There is magic and power to images. In today's world, images often hold the key to inspire, sell and capture a client's vision in one brief instant. A skillfully rendered image presents an instant reality that adds cache and believability to a proposed idea. When created with a sound knowledge of science and the environment and combined with the aesthetics of art and technology, images based on strong ideas have a weight that can change the world.
SERVICES
April Philips Design Works provides landscape architecture, urban design, sustainable design, and planning services. We also provide conceptual design and illustration services for all of our projects.
Process: While providing the highest quality of design service during the design process, APDW creates places that understand and integrate the rigors of use, time, and change. Our integrated approach to landscape architectural planning and design considers the myriad of factors that support the range of a project’s goals and objectives.
GIVING BACK
At APDW we believe that the key to a successful business is to not just serve your Clients, but also to serve the Community. We like to do our small part to help the environment through our research development ideas. Our passion for the integration of sustainably responsible choices into our design works is a way of life, not a design adjunct. We strongly believe along with giving back to the planet, we must also give back to the community.
ASLA: As the founder and national chairperson of ASLA’s Sustainable Design and Development ppn, April has taken the organization to a leadership role in sustainable landscape design. This ASLA group was instrumental in developing the momentum for the The Sustainable Sites Initiative. For more information click here. April lectures both nationally and internationally on sustainable landscapes and the Sustainable Sites Initiative.
